First Baptist Church exists to reach all people for Jesus Christ so that they become His passionate and productive followers.
We believe the Great Commission commands us to "make disciples of all nations."
We believe it is not enough to just help people make "decisions for Christ" or attract a crowd of people to our building once a week to be entertained.
We believe the Christian life is about more than what we do on Sunday mornings.
We believe the health of our church is more determined by how many members go out to serve Monday - Saturday than how many show up to be served on Sunday mornings.
We believe that building disciples is more important than building buildings.
