Passage: 1 Corinthians 1:18-25
Description: God pronounced the foolishness of the cross, to those who are perishing (unsaved). Are you perishing or are you being saved? Do you think the cross is foolishness, or does it offend you? If you are being saved, you will see the cross as the power of God. Salvation through that cross is free (available) to everyone! It is so simple that it is foolishness to those who think they are so smart. Listen and see if The Lord speaks to you through this message. Love is to flow from the foolishness of the cross.

Passage: 1 Corinthians 1:18-25
Description: An Emoji is a small graphic symbol that reflects how you feel in a text message. It is interesting to note that there is no Christian Cross emoji. The cross is offensive to many people because it is a picture of the seriousness of sin. Think about how God sees sin. It separates us from the Holy God. This is the reason Jesus had to die on The Cross to sacrifice Himself, so that we could be forgiven. So The Cross is also a picture of forgiveness. Listen for a list of characteristics of who you are because of The Cross, and more. It is Thanksgiving everyday!

Passage: John 10:14-15
Description: In today's world, it seems that churches may have become impersonal institutions, but that is not what God had intended. Jesus did not sacrifice Himself for a building or club or organization, but for sinful people like you and me. Christ died for each one of us, and rose again to pray intercedingly for each one of us. How can this church be Jesus's agent? Listen to hear how.
Date: Sunday, November 06, 2016       Teacher: Darrell Spencer     Duration: 36 mins 25 secs
Description: It seems there is an overall uncomfortable feeling in regard to this upcoming election, and our future as a nation. In 1 Samuel 8, we see the people want a king to rein over them, which was not what God wanted. But even so God allowed the people to choose a king, and things got worse. This was so that the people would turn back to God and put their faith in Him and not man. So to find out who you should vote for: 1- seek God and His kingdom. 2- Trust in the sovereignty of God. Listen for more insight. In whom do you put hope and faith?

Passage: John 17:13-19
Description: As we survive this world, we hear this phrase a lot "Are you in or out". So what does it mean for a Christian to be in the world but not of the world? We see here that Jesus is not of the world, and He says believers are not of the world either. And we see that this is only the starting point for Christians. We need to resist the comfort of isolation in Christian-only settings. But rather, we need to shine the light of Jesus Christ in non-Christian places. Listen for more.

Passage: Mark 5:35-41 & Hebrews 4:15
Description: When we go through storms, it can be because of our own sin. But sometimes when we act in obedience to God, we will go through a storm in this world. When storms come, don't try to handle them by yourself. Do you admit that you need the Lord? Sometimes it shows God's greatest power when He delays an answer. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ will allow you to persevere in His power.
Date: Sunday, October 16, 2016       Teacher: Darrell Spencer     Duration: 33 mins 49 secs
Description: We all have our own opinion of what we think about ourselves. But what does God think about you? God's Word tells us what He thinks about you and me. He thinks you are valuable. - Genesis 2:7, Psalm 139 You are sinful. - Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:1 But with Jesus Christ you can be forgiven. God wants you to call out to Him. You are loved. - Romans 5:8. Listen for many more.

Passage: 2 Corinthians 6:3-10
Description: Open your hearts wide. The world wants to hear the Word of God. And they want to see that the church is real. We have security, wisdom, and comfort because of His Word. The world wants to know how Christians deal with the troubles of life. Listen to find out how.
Date: Sunday, October 02, 2016       Teacher: Darrell Spencer     Duration: 36 mins 56 secs
Passage: John 9:35-41
Description: How do we relate Jesus Christ to the people around us? Think about this, when you leave your house everyday, you are on a journey and will be in contact with all kinds of people. We can give them the security we have in Jesus Christ. Be prepared because hurting people rush to Jesus. In this sermon, listen for ways we can relate to different people, that we might share the gospel with them.
Date: Sunday, September 25, 2016       Teacher: Darrell Spencer     Duration: 36 mins 56 secs
Description: We always ask "why" when something bad happens in our lives. As Christians, we usually ask God "why?" But we have to simply acknowledge that God is sovereign, and we pray. We know that God is in control of everything; He is not random. Expect the unexpected. We, as Christians, are not immune to trouble. We should respond with heartfelt, passionate prayer. Listen to hear more.
