Passage: Genesis 40:23-41:1
Description: We all dislike to wait. In these passages we see Joseph in prison; and he is thinking he is about to get out, but he is not. Waiting is difficult. You may not always be patient, but you will always have to wait. But waiting is God's laboratory. Sometimes we wait because of other people's sin, sometimes it's our sin. Listen for much more. God is working while we are waiting. So remember, we are waiting on God. Listen for why.

Passage: Jeremiah 15:16-19
Description: Have you begun something with great excitement and expectation, but later became frustration and grief? Have you ever felt betrayed by God? In the struggles you face, you need to be honest with God. He can take it. Spirituality requires you to be honest. You can expect God to be honest with you. In our lives, we have to learn to extract the precious things from the worthless. Are you missing precious things in your life? In God's Word?

Passage: Nehemiah 7:1-5 & Nehemiah 7:70-72
Description: In chapter 7 of Nehemiah, we see the Christian life has been designed by God to be a life of security. The better we get to know Christ, the more peace and security we will experience in our daily lives. Passage: Nehemiah 6:1-16
Description: Further into the book of Nehemiah, we see that when the enemy attacks, the primary battlefield is our mind or thought life, and the manipulation of our minds through compromise. The ultimate aim of the enemy is to break our will through discouragement. But when the enemy attacks, we must refuse to give in to fear and the temptation to flee. God's people can solve overwhelming problems and accomplish great things if they work together as a team. As you read and listen to this passage, I wonder if you will see a parallel of our world today.

Passage: Nehemiah 4:1-12
Description: Now in chapter four of the Book of Nehemiah, it teaches that there are two things we must do in order to be effective in the rebuilding process; the expectation of opposition and the elimination of obstacles. God honors those who are willing to take risks for Him. When God is at work, enemies are also at work. Do you let yourself be overcome with defeat? Remember that The Lord is above all and has overcome the world. Call out to Him!

Passage: Nehemiah 3:1-32
Description: As we continue in the Book of Nehemiah, we see that the work of rebuilding requires faithfulness, leadership, and cooperation. Nehemiah never left the vision God had given him to rebuild the wall. And he never thought the task was too large for God. Do you think your problems are too big for God? God defines success in terms of faithfulness.

Passage: Nehemiah 2:2-6 & Nehemiah 6:9-20
Description: In this message, we learn that a heartfelt burden for the condition of God's people was reflected in Nehemiah's countenance as he ministered to the king. Whenever God's people begin to move forward to fulfill God's vision there will be opposition. And Nehemiah challenged the appropriate audience (that is the people) at the right time. More love O Christ, to thee, More love to thee.
