Passage: Matthew 27:11-26
Description: As we look at this passage in Matthew, we see how Pilate responded to Jesus. Pilate missed Jesus by following other people and compromising what he knew to be true. Pilate sought to win over the crowd by offering Barabbas as a substitute for Christ. Pilate also missed Jesus by seeking to remain neutral. He asked in verse 22, what shall I do with Jesus. What will you do with Jesus? Everyone of us must answer that question.

Passage: Luke 23:33-43
Description: The greatest day in the history of the world was the day Christ died on the cross. The Cross of Christ is a place of redemption, rebuke, and responsibility. Do you, every day, live for Christ? Everyday God should be doing something through you. Christianity is not to be a spectator sport.

Passage: Mark 2:1-12
Description: In this mornings passage in Mark, we examine six principles necessary to fulfill Christ's mandate for ministry.
Date: Sunday, March 26, 2017       Teacher: Keith Cating     Duration: 27 mins 57 secs
Passage: 1 Samuel 14:1-23
Description: In this passage, we see Saul who was waiting on the Lord, but not really. We see him take things into his own hands and his own way. Sometimes we can be this way, right? The sad thing is that because Saul's disobedience, God had left him. But we also see Johnathan, who was obedient to God, succeed. He was a leader that listened to God. Will you take risks to follow God? Let us be open to hearing God's voice.

Passage: Luke 6:17-26
Description: We see in this familiar passage Jesus talking about the upside down kingdom that He wanted to reverse. Have you ever looked in the mirror and see a Pharisee? We see things now in the upside down kingdom, but in the new kingdom we will see the opposite - like the poor being rich and weak being strong. It shouldn't be all about "you" but rather about The Kingdom. Have you ever said "God, aren't you glad you have me"? This is not being poor in spirit, as scripture says we should be. The Cross is the great reversal of the world's system. Jesus came to save us, not to punish us. This is so you can turn around and share the good news with others. From these passages today, what category do you fit in?

Passage: Daniel 1:3-16 & Daniel 2:14-23
Description: Today we hear how Daniel choose to resist the pagan king who had besieged Judah. Daniel stood by his godly convictions so that his life would not become corrupted. And we see how God blessed him and intervened to save Daniel. Listen to hear how far Daniel would go to bring glory to God. Where in your life can you begin to live for The Lord? If our convictions are not based upon God's Word, they will not support us in the tests of life.

Passage: Philippians 3:15-21
Description: Listen for ten questions to test if any activity is biblical or not. If we follow and obey God, it strengthens our morality. We must avoid developing close, intimate personal relationships with unbelievers except with the purpose of evangelism. We have an Example to follow, and Enemy to avoid, and an Eternity in view.

Passage: Job & Romans 8:6
Description: Today we look at the difficult subject of suffering. Job's inexplicable suffering prompted him to seek answers, but he never charged God foolishly. The tendency to hear what you want to hear is a childish trait. Sometimes our suffering is explainable, but other times it cannot be explained. You can ask God what's going on but never question His integrity. God is true, just, and He has a perspective that we don't have. Know that our Lord is good, as we see Job did. Don't waste your sorrows! When you can't explain your suffering, avoid the trap of questioning God's intentions.
Date: Sunday, February 19, 2017       Teacher: Dr. Wayne McEntire     Duration: 33 mins 54 secs
Passage: Galatians 3:2 & Romans 7:9-8:27
Description: We are saved by grace through faith, but how do we grow? Have you fallen into the old way of thinking that you have to live righteously by your own strength? Salvation begins with grace and ends with grace. Keep bringing the issues of life to God because of who He is and what He has done, and not on the basis of who you are or what you have done. Listen for five points that the Spirit does for us.
