One on One
Our focus for the coming 12 months is simply each one focus on helping one unsaved or unchurched person come to faith in Christ and active membership in our church.
What Can You Do?
1. INTERCEDE
Pray that God will place a burden on your heart for one lost person, Pray for that person daily. Pray for their H.E.A.R.T.
RECEPTIVE HEART: Pray that God will make their heart receptive to the Gospel and your overtures of friendship
SPIRITUAL EYES AND EARS: Pray that the light of Christ will penetrate their spiritually darkened hearts and minds.
GOD'S ATTITUDE TOWARD SIN: Pray that God will help them see their sin the way God sees it.
RELEASED TO BELIEVE: Pray that God will break the chains of their bondage to sin and set them free to turn to Christ as their Savior and Lord.
TRANSFORMED LIFE: Pray that God will work to transform their life through the power of the Spirit
2. INVEST
Be intentional in investing time in building a friendship with your lost one. Here are some ideas:
1. Include them in activities you are already doing. (lunch, golf, shopping, hunting, etc)
2. Ask them for prayer requests.
3. Look for ways to meet their needs.
4. Encourage them.
5. Listen to them.
6. Meet for coffee or lunch. Invite them into your home for dinner.
3. INVITE
Look for opportunities to invite your friend to attend your Bible Study group or one of our Worship services or special events. As God works in your friend's life, be sensitive to opening to share your personal testimony or talk about the Gospel.
