Another Sunday night's random thoughts

- Kids grow up SO FAST ... I took Paul to a two-day preview at Ouachita Baptist University last Thursday and Friday ... and it hit me that this time next year he will be in college ... wow!
- Don't you love how Aaron leads us in worship each week! He leads by pointing us to Jesus ... and not making himself the center of attention ... how refreshing!!
- I love to hear our folks sing! Our best singing group is our congregation!!
- I wasn't able to sing much today because I still getting over the crud ... and it hit me during one of the songs that people who are spiritually sick don't sing much either. They get all clogged up with sin and self.
- I'm so glad that FBCLC still remembers that we are called to the business of saving lives and not throwing or polishing stones!
- Why is it that churches tend to be such breeding grounds for stone throwers?
- Sometimes we like to throw stones at ourselves ... we need to drop those stones too!
- If you missed Sunday night's service, you missed hearing some great testimonies!
- I'm really enjoying our study on Sunday evenings through the Book of Exodus ... I'm really looking forward to digging into Moses' song in Exodus 15 ...
- Roll Tide! Hey, I couldn't help it ... they do look pretty good this year
- I still can't believe that I get to be the pastor of such a great bunch of folks!
